Nick “Shinz” Schendzielos is the bassist behind Job for a Cowboy, Cephalic Carnage, Havok, and Nuclear Power Trio. Known for extreme-metal precision, explosive technique, and unpredictable low-end energy, his playing brings slap, tapping, chords, double-thumb, and aggressive fingerstyle into a uniquely heavy voice.

For someone that can't really play bass but wants realistic, modern sounding low end in their tracks without having to do much tweaking, this plugin is a game changer. The sheer variety of articulations within ShinzBass means I can live out my 80's style wannabe fusion dreams all in the MIDI grid.
I originally treated writing bass parts as an afterthought and found it to be a chore — with ShinzBass, composing bass parts is now genuinely the most exciting instrument to write. Super intuitive and easy to use.
